In this special edition episode of the Straight-Line Podcast, Johan and Mandy van der Put discuss: Quiet Quitting, Part 2
Quiet quitting can spread like an infection within an organization. Just as frightened soldiers on the front lines during World War II could undermine the morale of others, a quiet quitter can set the bar lower and lower for the entire team. This behavior is contagious and can negatively impact the productivity and morale of an entire organization. Unlike powerhouse figures like Ronaldo or Messi, who raise the bar and propel their team forward, a quiet quitter lowers the standards. This results in a downward spiral in which more and more employees reduce their effort, which ultimately harms the organization as a whole.
