Simon de Clerck

Straight-Line Coach

Simon doesn’t do things by halves. At fourteen, he chose to attend boarding school. He moved from Flanders to French-speaking Belgium to complete his education in French. From half-marathon to marathon, to triathlon, to Ironman. From employee to entrepreneur, from entrepreneur to coach.

No coincidence. A pattern.

When something challenges him, Simon dives right in—he doesn’t shy away. He brings that mindset to every coaching relationship. His greatest strength: he sees what you’re capable of before you do.

He coaches based on experience, not theory.

In April 2017, Simon was on the other side of the table. Together with two partners, he ran a company that grew from zero to twenty million euros in three years.

The problem? The company was growing faster than he was. As a result, he began to fall behind in terms of finances, processes, structure, and recruitment.

“Kristof held up a mirror to me. I had been blaming external circumstances. Until I realized that I was the problem.”

Six months later, Kristof asked him out of the blue, “Do you want to become a coach?” Simon thought it over for a few weeks. He sold his shares. And in January 2018, he made the switch to coaching full-time.

Not because it was easy. Because the impact on his own life was so profound that he couldn't keep it to himself.

Personal responsibility

Simon helps entrepreneurs stop blaming external factors. He brings you back to the only variable you can influence: yourself.

Work-life balance

Success in business and at home isn’t a trade-off. Simon has proven it himself—with a demanding career, top-level athletic performance, and a strong family life. He gives you the tools so you don’t have to choose between them.

Physical and mental performance

Thanks to his background in sports and nutrition, Simon understands better than anyone how the body performs under pressure. He helps driven entrepreneurs who have been putting their health on the back burner for too long.
